Deer Creek Friends Meeting was founded in 1737, making it one of the oldest Quaker Meetings in the U.S. It has been serving members and attenders from Maryland and southern Pennsylvania for nearly 280 years.  

We are an open and inclusive community, welcoming people from all walks of life. Together we share worship, educational programs for adults and children, social justice advocacy, and other caring concerns.  

Deer Creek Friends is a member of Chesapeake Quarterly Meeting and falls under the larger umbrella of Baltimore Yearly Meeting. While Chesapeake Quarterly fosters communication between local meetinghouses, Baltimore Yearly provides faith and practice guides to nourish our spiritual life and decision-making.
